Well, I've apearently bent my front driveshaft just a bit. (actually quite some time ago) So my u-joints went bad. I've replaced the u-joints, but not corrected the bent shaft. Right now when I drive it's vibration free!!! So I like that! That's why I haven't replaced the front shaft yet. I figured before I hit the next trail I'll put it back in. But.... the bigger problem is a driveability issue. I took the family up to Cades Cove last Sunday when almost to Maryville the Jeep started sputtering and bucking and so on. Finally the "Check Engine" light came on. So I checked it ... it was still there!! (LOL) Well I've got several codes - engine running too cool??; throttle position sensor; a/c clutch relay?? - I don't even have a/c!; and the one that has me wondering ... automatic shutdown relay????? I'm gonna start with the TPS and go from there. My biggest problem is funds!! Seems like when it rains it pours. The wife says "no parts" 'cause we have other more important things to pay for. ( whats more important than keep'n the Jeep running!!!??) So anyways.... the Jeep and me are stuck in the yard for awhile!!!

Kim's has the error code for AC compressor but it's a 2.5 without AC! We have noticed when we push it a little (70mph in the interstate) the light will come on but it's not running hot or losing power. Turn it off and fire it back up...no error code. I don't know why....maybe a restriction around an O2 sensor? my best guess but if it aint broke...........
